Regeneco was born out of a simple reality.
- God originally intended humanity to build His Kingdom on earth according to His principles and ways. (Genesis 2:15, 1:28; Isaiah 55:8-9)
- All kingdoms throughout history have required both natural and human resources to build the infrastructure and support systems necessary to sustain them.
- Today’s economic and monetary systems are designed to serve a kingdom other than the Kingdom of God.
- Resources God placed in His people’s hands to build His Kingdom are redirected to build another. (John 10:10)
It was never meant to be this way. It doesn’t have to remain this way.
What We Do
Our Mission
To empower followers of Jesus to build God’s Kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven” by embracing a “John 10:10 biblical economic worldview” and then forming coalitions in local communities to live out that worldview in their families, churches, businesses, and civil government.
Our Method
Through courses, books, and seminars, we reveal the reality of how economic systems work in the world today and how Scripture guides followers of Jesus to respond. We then help initiate the transformation process from our broken system to how God intended us to create, steward, and deploy resources for the benefit of His Kingdom.
Our Strategy
We first ground followers of Jesus in a biblical economic worldview. Biblical truth is the foundation of all we do. As individuals respond to the Holy Spirit, we empower them to lead an economic transformation process in their homes, communities, and nations. This includes establishing local community councils and prayer teams.
Our Core Values
Faith as Foundation
We believe God’s Word provides the blueprint for how followers of Jesus should create and exchange value, and we anchor our work in timeless biblical principles rather than man-made systems.
2 Timothy 3:16,17
Church-Led Restoration
We see the ekklesia as set apart by God to administer the affairs of His people on earth according to biblical principles. When applied in our communities, they will solve the most pressing problems we face and bless our neighbors.
Matthew 5:13-16
Cooperation not Competition
We encourage God’s people to participate as members of the Body of Christ in a Grand Building Project, known as the Kingdom of God, by working together to create sustainable abundance.
Ephesians 4:16
Faithful Stewardship
We recognize that everything belongs to God and we are to have open hands with the resources, relationships, and opportunities He entrusts to us for the benefit of His Kingdom and future generations.
Psalm 50:10-11
Abundance Mindset
We operate from God’s perspective of abundance rather than worldly scarcity, trusting His principles to create sustainable provision when stewarded according to His ways and not man’s.
Genesis Chapters 1 and 2
Image-Bearer Identity
We affirm that every person is created as a unique image-bearer of God. Each has unique skills to contribute to building His Kingdom. It is our duty to direct resources to those whom God has called to protect and nurture that identity.
Genesis 1:26
Generational Sustainability
We commit to building systems and practices that will create lasting impact for generations. This ensures our communities are resilient and Kingdom-focused regardless of external circumstances.
Proverbs 13:22
Prayer Led Action
We acknowledge that “except the Lord build the house, those who do so labor in vain.” Thus, we constantly seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all things before taking action.
Philippians 4:6-7
A little about the Founder...
Born and raised on a small farm in southwest Nebraska, Doug Tjaden has a heart for the intersection between thriving local communities and stewardship of God’s Creation. The broad set of life experiences God has blessed him with, along with forming deep relationships with national and international ministry leaders, has shaped his passion for helping humanity escape the trap of today’s economic “traditions of men.” Regeneco is the primary platform through which he will serve the body of Christ to achieve this as the global economic and monetary system undergoes dramatic change in the coming years.
Doug and his wife, Kathy, have been married for forty years. They are blessed with five children and seven grandchildren, all of whom make their homes near Harrisonville, Missouri, USA.
